Time is spent. Paid time off is earned. We "waste" time, "use" time, "take" time. Time is...money. Oh, why must we be so transactional in our relationship with time, when we all share it in equal increments? What do these transactions do to our experience with equity in all its corners?
For example, the usefulness of our emotions depend on a thoughtful interaction with time. Conscience and its emotional fruit indeed give guide to what we call reason. Or, we are doomed. Doomed I said! Emotional rationality requires time, time to invite and try the new. We honor the time needed; let's talk time and its role in work and life. Because That's Equity.
