An Experiment in Re-learning.
Dear Advocate of Equity,
As one world ends, we plan to welcome a new world that rings of liberation. While the work to build a new world must feel daunting, we begin with practicing. Let us be clear: This is not a conference, please expect to invite deeper learning and new relationships. We learn by practicing and our mission is simple: Create new pathways. During our time together, we explore practices that gently yet purposefully re-connect us with a community larger than ourselves, the earth itself, our own spiritual and child-like selves. We know the status quo in all aspects from finance to education and here we ask as a form of rebellion, "Because we know that doesn't work for us, so what does work for all?" And, we don't start from the beginning. We've all been answering this question for some time; it's time to share our answers and weave together the best of our threads.
Because space is limited, we urge you to consider registering soon, you're needed. Palestine freed us, welcome to the future. Warmly, The Equity Consortium |
Accommodations: All accommodation needs are met with diligence and care. The venue is ADA accessible and any materials are able to be shared ahead of time and are also ADA accessible. If you are in need of interpreter services, we thank you for your grace in allowing us one month's notice.
We Present, THE PLAN.

In-Person Date: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; September 18, 19 (full moon), 20, 2024
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily Location / Venue: The location is confirmed but will only be provided upon registration for our security. For planning purposes, it is located in South Seattle's Columbia City, Rainier Valley neighborhood. Sad face: No virtual options are available. Seattle, like nearly all cities in the United States, suffers from redlining as an element of our colonist birth. In the absence of explicit segregation laws (i.e. "liberal" cities) redlining segregates residents using zoning and real estate transactions as a substitute. For our visitors who love history and culture, we suggest visiting/staying in these neighborhoods: Central District International District Columbia City Rainier Valley Rainier Beach Skyway Image: Commercial Map of Greater Seattle with 'grade of security' designations, 1936.
