The Equity Factors Assessment, written with 500 years of combined experience of those most affected, provides the organization an opportunity to engage in a streamlined dialogue with community around institutionalizing equitable practices.
To further the loop, evaluation of the results is contracted out to three community Evaluators who use, again, community-created metrics to assess. This process creates a community feedback loop: Assessment written by community, answered by organization, and in turn evaluated by community. And, this Assessment serves the organization and its equity advocates by providing a detailed map on how to begin or continue instituting equitable practices.
