ORGANZING PRINCIPLES

We like to keep it simple in this section. We avoid hopeful thinking and focus on attainable action without oversimplifying.

We don’t wait to set aside time to focus on their updating, rather as the challenge arises, we adjust. Like water. Please enjoy.
Mission
The Equity Consortium institutionalizes equity.

Vision
We prepare individuals and organizations to thrive as we create a new standard of equitable practice.

Structure
We are a Social Purpose Corporation registered in Washington State, USA.

  • What we pay attention to grows;
  • Mutual benefit with every exchange;
  • Meet systemic challenge with gracious, systemic response.
Assessment Evaluation Principles
Equity Evaluators base their evaluations of the Equity Factors Assessment on the following four main organizing principles as sung in the chorus of over 30 advocacy organizations across multiple communities.
REPRESENTATION
Led by those most affected,
embracing intersectionality
ECONOMY
Person over profit,
fiscal role in justice
CULTURE / PRACTICE
Beliefs, values, and practice are conscious decisions
