What is it?
The intention of the Equity Variables Test is to offer a general direction to face as the organization seeks equitable change. The Equity Variables Test is a roughly 30 question quiz written with the contributions of 39 equity advocates with a combined experience in equity of over 500 years. The Equity Variables Test pulls these community favorite questions from the complete 162 question Equity Factors Assessment (launching Fall, 2021).

HOw long does it take?
After we launch in summer 2021, depending on the information you have available the Equity Factors Test takes anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours. Once submitted, the results are emailed within 48 hours. how is it evaluated?
Each question was first selected and weighted based on the feedback of over two dozen equity advocates. The Equity Consortium then uses a copyrighted evaluation matrix that represents the collective organizing principles of over 36 local and national advocacy communities. And, our Evaluators meet a minimum of 20 years combined experience. HOW much does it cost?
The cost to complete the Equity Variables Test is $300. Should the organization chose to then participate in the Equity Factors Assessment (a complete community-based equity assessment program), this fee paid will be applied as a credit towards that cost. We offer two payment options: one time, or two payments of $150. Who should complete the test?
The person with the most intimate knowledge of the presence or absence of equitable practices is the one best situated to complete the Equity Variables Test. The person completing the Test is considered an official representative of the organization. are the results public?
Test results are sent only to the email provided and are shared neither publicly nor by request. The Equity Consortium does reserve the right to include anonymized results as a part of collecting equity-related data. This information helps us to establish baselines of equitable practices across a variety of indicators such as by field and intersections of identity. |
